Senior Project Manager (Contract)

Who are we?
We are Ovarro, our technology is mostly used by water companies to help solve some vital problems. Our Leakage Detection range is being used to help cut global water loss which is a hugely important issue.  Our SCADA/Telemetry products support the process of water getting to your taps.
What we offer?
This will be an 12 - 18 month fixed term contract.
An opportunity to manage the process for the delivery of Large Site SCADA and telemetry systems to our customers in the water industry and beyond. These systems have real world value and bring a vital service to all who rely on them. You will take ownership of the full project/delivery lifecycle and the successful delivery of a project will mean a whole lot to those that need them.
Our benefits package includes hybrid working, EV Car scheme, cycle to work scheme, 4x life assurance, 25 days holiday + all bank holidays, access to thousands of high street discounts and free perks, a pension scheme, Career pathways and development, Ovarro Academy training platform, referral bonus, employee assistance programme and we are a Living Wage Employer.

What do we need?
Experience managing large scale projects is essential. This can be either using either waterfall or agile but we understand a great project manager has many tools in their kitbag and knows which one to use at the right time. In a perfect world, every project will go exactly to plan but this isn’t always possible and your ability to successfully and calmly manage these variations to the plan will bring great value to all who you interact with.

What do you need to apply?
Evidence on your CV that you can manage large scale projects. Ideally some experience with SCADA/Telemetry or responding to Bids & Tenders is useful but not essential.

Due to the nature of this position, there would be an additional level of background screening required for the successful applicant

Ovarro recognise the need for a diverse workforce and we are committed to equal opportunities in employment.

Ovarro employees and candidates who apply to work at Ovarro will be treated fairly and valued equally. All job requirements fit the needs of the business and those who work in it, regardless of age, disability, race, nationality, ethnic or national origin, gender, religion, beliefs, sexual orientation, domestic circumstances, social and employment status, HIV status, gender reassignment, political affiliation or trade union membership.
