Mobile Applications Developer

Company Overview:
Ovarro specialises in creating innovative apps for water leakage reduction solutions in the utilities sector. We are seeking a talented and motivated Mobile Developer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the continued growth and improvement of our mobile applications.

You will add impact at Ovarro by:

• Working as part of a distributed software team
• Designing and implementing software solutions to be used on critical infrastructure
• Supporting with product improvements and enhancements

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms using Flutter and Bloc architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and enhancements.
• Implement and maintain RESTful APIs to ensure seamless communication between the mobile app and server.
• Optimise app performance and ensure responsiveness across various devices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues.

Key Technologies:

• Flutter
• Bloc architecture
• REST APIs

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in mobile app development using Flutter and Bloc.
• Familiarity with native Android programming using Java and Kotlin.
• Proficiency in native iOS development using Objective-C and Swift.
• Experience with RESTful API integration.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Previous experience in water utilities or a related sector is a plus.

Salary Range: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
