To enable this, we need team members who fully live our OneTeam value which is at the heart of everything we do at Ovarro.  We are now looking to hire a HSE Officer to take the lead on strategically directing the Ovarro group of companies on all HSE matters

You will add impact at Ovarro by;

  • Providing guidance to leadership and colleagues on safety practices in the workplace including occupational safety and health issues.
  • Developing, implementing, and enforcing safety policies and procedures.
  • Driving a zero incident mindset through a strong safety culture, leading by example and engaging with the entire workforce.
  • Leading and managing Safety & Environmental accreditations (ISO & customer compliance) ensuring structured audit practices and driving a continuous improvement mindset.

Candidates should have;

  • Proven experience in a Quality, Health and Safety Role
  • Experience gained within a similar industry would be an advantage
  • Demonstration of the ability to drive a safety culture though engaging teams
  • Experience of developing and improving processes, procedures and their deployment
  • Experience of ISO14001 and, ISO45001 Quality Management Systems
  • Able to demonstrate improvements in safety metrics and company culture
