Buyer/Planner

Ovarro is a company with real purpose. To enable this we need team members who fully live our OneTeam value which is at the heart of everything we do at Ovarro. We are now looking to grow our team by hiring a Buyer/Planner in Eckington to take ownership of purchasing, materials requirements planning and supplier management. As this is a specialist role, prior experience working in a purchasing and/or planning position is essential.

You will add impact at Ovarro by;

• Working closely with production team to effectively schedule work through the facility aligned with customer requirements and capacity, ensuring that all materials required for build are available.
• Communicating with our major suppliers and Global Supply Chain Manager to agree delivery planning in line with agreed quantities, costs and quality. 
• Supporting the management of inventory levels, material/product level revisions
• Working closely with the Product Line and Sales to limit Excess and Obsolete stocks. 

Candidates should have;

• Previous experience working in a Purchasing and/or Planning role
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products – Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams
• Experience of working on an ERP system ideally Navision
• Understanding of MRP
• Proven experience in data analytics/PowerBi is a distinct advantage
