The Role

• Creation of purchases for raw materials, components from our MRP system
• Working closely with Suppliers to make sure we are buying competitively
• Attention to detail essential – keeping Supplier records up to date
• Work well as part of a team
• Expedition of outstanding purchase orders to make sure we have materials when we need them. Chasing order acknowledgements from Suppliers
• Resolution of any supplier invoice queries to enable our accounts team to pay our Suppliers in a timely manner
• Good communication skills both verbal and written

About You

• Proven experience working in a Purchasing role
• Experience of working on an ERP system
• Understanding of basic MRP
• Proven experience in data analytics is a distinct advantage
