Ametek has announced the acquisition of Indicor’s Water & Infrastructure Solutions
The management has announced an expansion of the products and services available to its partners through its sister companies, Ovarro, Technolog & Utilitec, Orbis and Aquam. As leaders in critical infrastructure technologies, the companies have rich legacies, specialist technologies and strong market positions across the UK, Europe, the Middle East, North America and Asia Pacific.
Now part of the same operating group, serving similar customers across the smart water and infrastructure space, they are opening partner access across their combined portfolio of advanced digital technologies.
For customers and partners, this means faster access to a wider range of cutting-edge products, resources and specialist expertise, helping them to transition towards smarter, more resilient networks.
Each company will retain its individual name and brand under the ownership and group name of AMETEK, a leading manufacturer of electronic instruments and electromechanical devices. This strengthening of the group's range and reach provides partners with access to a unique, end-to-end solution suite, including:
Technolog & Utilitec

Group chief executive, overseeing all the companies, Amer Khayyat said: “We are pleased to announce this enhanced technology offering which will enable our customers and partners to better serve the needs of the water, gas and infrastructure monitoring sectors globally.
“Importantly, the way you partner with us will not change. Services will continue to be delivered through the channels partners already know, and the trusted product offering will remain the same. The key difference is that partners now have more choice and opportunities through a stronger global network of specialist providers.”
