Software Engineer (Data Analytics)

To achieve our goals we need team members who fully live our OneTeam value which is at the heart of everything we do at Ovarro.  Our new Software Engineer will collaborate with our experienced software team to produce high quality Data Analytics software.

You will add impact at Ovarro by;

  • Contributing to and working on a range of work, sometimes complex and non-routine, such as requirement analysis, design, testing and implementation of new software features and products, as well as maintenance of the existing functionalities such as resolving defects.
  • Working alone or in a team to create new applications and features to the primary web platform. Determine when issues should be escalated to a higher level.
  • Assisting Support and Sales colleagues to resolves issues quickly and efficiently on current and legacy solutions.
  • Contribute to the specification process and create and maintain the technical documentation to ensure requirements are complete, unambiguous and implementable
  • Assisting in managing, maintaining and developing cloud native solutions.
  • Writing unit tests and supporting testers.

Candidates should possess;

  • Fluent in C# and JavaScript, with demonstrable experience of both.
  • Experience with ASP.NET, .Net Framework, .Net Core, ideally both.
  • Experience in Entity Framework or Entity Framework Core
  • Good understanding of software lifecycle and foundation activities
  • A Computer Science or equivalent degree or equivalent demonstrated experience and practical knowledge of computer programming
