Production/Process Engineer (Contract)

To support our growth, we are looking for an experienced Production/Process Engineer (Contract) to manage our Lead Detection NPD’s and Contract manufacturing process, working closely with engineering and operations to ensure smooth product introduction

What we are looking for  :

  • A proven process/production engineer with knowledge of manufacturing processes, design for manufacture and lean improvements.
  • You should be an independent thinker and keen problem-solver. Able to diagnose problems both internally and externally, train staff, and provide effective recommendations to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
  • Provide close links between all stakeholders in the business, able to engage at all levels to drive problem solving and improvements. Working closely with both engineering and production team to provide robust production solutions for NPI which include comprehensive detailed control processes.
  • Ability to create and train production teams in use of operational procedures including understanding drawings, BOM’s and routing and any equipment required to complete the manufacture considering the use of lean tools and techniques.


What value you will bring to our team:

  • Experienced process/production engineer with electrical/electronic experience, PCBA and Box building knowledge would be an advantage
  • Understands technical drawings and Design for Manufacture including DFME
  • Able to translate engineering drawings into easy to understand and use production information
  • Strong problem solving skills, use of RA and CA
  • Experience of using 123 ERP system would be an advantage
  • Project Management experience would be an advantage
