Graduate Software Engineer

Ovarro are going through an exciting period of transformation and change with a supercharged focus on culture and sustainability. Although our name is new, Ovarro has been around for a long time and our tech underpins critical infrastructure across the world.  We now need a Graduate Software Engineer to join one of our agile teams and work with our talented software engineers on our bespoke in-house products. A large proportion of our team started at Ovarro as graduates and progressed into senior positions which underpins our desire to retain and grow our talent. We are a company that truly can walks-the-walk when it comes to training our teams and supporting them to achieve their career goals and aspirations.

You will add impact at Ovarro by;

• Working as part of an agile team using scrum
• Designing and implementing software solutions to be used on critical infrastructure
• Supporting with product improvements and enhancements
• Interacting with our customers as part of the agile process and rituals
• Taking part in some paired programming when needed

Candidates should have;

• Prior knowledge of C/C++ or Java
• An understanding of how to create and test bespoke software
• A naturally curious mindset with a love of technology
• The flexibility to be able to pick up new tasks quickly
• Knowledge of Linux is preferable.
