Our new Planning and Dispatch Administrator will assist with the Planning and Dispatch processes, to ensure that there is enough resource to facilitate smooth running of the department, while maintain the delivery KPI’s.

You will add impact at Ovarro by:

  • Releasing approved Works Orders to manufacture goods
  • Monitoring Works Orders progress to ensure it is following the schedule
  • Coordinating production workflow for one or multiple products
  • Scheduling the supply of products to the line.
  • Managing schedule changes and cancellations for Works orders
  • Liaising with the relevant organisation's such as Chamber of Commerce to ensure that despatches are in line with current Customs requirements (i.e. EUR1’s)
  • Obtaining costings and produce customer shipping quotations
  • Liaising with the Accounts department to ensure all appropriate carriage charges are levied on an order by order basis and confirm when despatch documentation has been raised

Candidates should possess:

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role
  • Experience of relevant Production processes
  • Understanding of MRP and production processes
  • Knowledge/understanding of ISO9001 and ISO14001
  • Ability to work on own initiative to resolve issues through practical solutions
