Lead Business Analyst

Ovarro is a market-leading provider of remote telemetry units, secure SCADA systems and business optimisation software. We are transforming how companies around the world use their software to improve productivity.

One of our key product offerings, SCOPE, is a secure software telemetry and SCADA platform for monitoring and controlling a diverse range of assets in real-time. SCOPE unifies people, processes and assets from small plant installations through to the management of entire organisations’ operational networks.

We’re now looking for a Lead Business Analyst to collaborate with our customers and provide technical and business needs to the Project and Product Teams

As a Business Analyst, you will:

  • Coach, mentor and develop Ovarro Business Analysts
  • Resource management and planning for the utilisation of Business Analysts
  • Provide the voice of the customer to the team, ensuring a good understanding of motivations, risks, and perceived business benefits.
  • Break tasks down into meaningful iterations (user stories) with observable outputs and minimal dependencies to facilitate frequent success.
  • Collaborate with all team members to ensure all stories and acceptance criteria are realistic, achievable, and testable by meeting INVEST criteria.
  • Play an active role in the evaluation of all deliverables and critique them from the customer and businesses perspective.
  • Work alongside the Software Delivery Manager to prioritise backlog to ensure value is being delivered to the customer.

Interested? To be considered as a Lead Business Analyst, you will need:

  • Proven Business Analyst experience in a software environment
  • Experience of Software Development & Implementation of projects within challenging environments
  • Demonstrable experience of managing teams and/or across multiple projects
  • Ability to maintain customer engagement throughout the delivery journey
  • Good working knowledge of a variety of change management methodologies (waterfall and Agile) and the software development lifecycle
