Associate Product Line Manager - SCADA

To achieve our goals we need team members who fully live our OneTeam value which is at the heart of everything we do at Ovarro.  Our new Associate Product Line Manager, will own, develop and drive our SCADA product roadmap and P&L of the product line.

You will be the voice of the customer for Ovarro and clearly articulate market opportunities for new and existing products that align with the company strategy. Focusing on the gross margin, you will monitor global business conditions, continually review the product portfolio and interpret and adapt to global market conditions by following and understanding product and/or market trends and dynamics.

Supporting the Product Line Manager, your role will also involve:

  • Driving balanced actions across sales subscriptions.
  • Position products to meet customer and business needs
  • Develop commercial strategies and go-to-market plans
  • Turning new opportunities into profitable business growth through new product development
  • Liaising with internal departments and stakeholders to understand market requirements and customer needs
  • Managing the product life cycle
  • Prioritise product development projects
  • Understand competitor activity

To be considered as an Associate Product Line Manager, you will need:

  • A proven background in product management, category management or product marketing
  • Experience with SCADA product development or management
  • Experience with portfolio management and product development (shaping product strategy, roadmaps, and life-cycles)
  • Previous experience in a B2B environment
  • Product development experience (from inception to launch)
  • A full understanding of the marketing mix
  • Strong stakeholder and budget management skills
  • Excellent decision making abilities
  • A commercially focused approach with a strong understanding of product strategies and profit and loss elements would also be an advantage.
