Software Sales Engineer

Ovarro are going through an exciting period of transformation and change with a supercharged focus on culture and sustainability. Although our name is new, Ovarro has been around for a long time and our tech underpins critical infrastructure across the globe.  

The next stage of Ovarro’s growth will be to build an exceptional Sales team. This team will be helping to grow our business sales through engaging with potential new customers and cross selling into our existing customer base.  

You will add impact at Ovarro by;

• Working closely with our Sales Managers and customer to understand requirements and match them to our analytics solutions
• Proactively prepare presentations and demonstration materials to meet customer requirements
• Becoming the subject matter exper for Ovarro Analytics platform and project manage customer trials
• Working directly or through our Sales Managers/Partners to maintain high level of customer engagement

Candidates should have;

• Demonstrated ability to liaise with customers on understanding technical issues regarding data analytics.
• Demonstrated experience in SCADA or data historian or Alarms management systems is highly desirable.
• Familiarity working in and assisting others through solving technical data analytics problems.
• Prior experience working in a relevant technical sales, customer-facing role will be highly regarded.
• Prior experience working in the Water or Oil & Gas industry is an advantage.
• As you will be interacting with colleagues across the globe, you will need to have a strong level of written and spoken English.
