Senior Software Tester

Ovarro are going through an exciting period of transformation and change with a supercharged focus on culture and sustainability. Although our name is new, Ovarro has been around for a long time and our tech underpins critical infrastructure across the world.  We are now looking to grow our team by hiring a Senior Software Tester in either our Waterloo or Eckington location and will test our RTU, Leak Detection and Analytics product lines.

You will add impact at Ovarro by;

• Developing and applying testing processes for medium to large software.
• Designing test cases and test scripts under own direction and organizing test plans and procedures.
• Building and maintaining test environments.
• Ensuring tests and results are fully documented, reported to stakeholders and are available for specification of user instructions.

Candidates should have;

• Previous experience in a position with Testing responsibilities
• Experience with any of Black-Box and Grey-Box testing, functional testing, integration testing, system testing, acceptance testing, performance testing, security testing, usability testing, compatibility testing.
• Ability to work in a team and under own direction.
• Strong Analytical approach and a high level of accuracy and attention to details.
• Depending on location, an ability to communicate in French, English & Dutch.
