Ovarro are going through an exciting period of transformation and change with a supercharged focus on culture and sustainability. Although our name is new, Ovarro has been around for a long time and our tech underpins critical infrastructure across the world. We are now looking to hire an Assistant Accountant to Assist and participate in performing financial accounting tasks.

You will add impact at Ovarro by;

  • Assisting and participating in the financial plans and forecasts for monthly, quarter, and yearly basis.
  • Ensuring the fixed assets book is maintained accurately in compliance with accounting standards and company policy.
  • Overseeing end to end general ledger activities, inclusive of journals, allocations, inventory valuations and adjustments, period-end closing activities.
  • Monitoring and reconciliation of prepayment, accruals, provision, deposit & down payment ledger.
  • By checking and preparing monthly intercompany reconciliation.
  • Forecasting the funds requirement and request for funds from parent company on a timely manner.

Candidates should possess;

  • A proven background with relevant experience in Accounting & Audit; Job & Standard Costing experience preferred
  • Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ICMA etc), Diploma in Accountancy (minimum)
  • Experience in using NAVISION is preferred
  • An ability to work independently with minimum supervision,
  • As you will be communicating with colleagues in the UK, written and spoken English is a requirement for this position.
