An advanced technology solution for cost-effective leakage management. Ideal for sites with poor signal strength, the Phocus3 noise logger listens to leaks live through wireless communications; choose between infrared for "Lift and Shift" or radio for semi-permanent installation. On-site leakage results are obtained via the Communications Module with detailed analysis carried out on the host software.

Deploying a network of Phocus3 loggers is an ideal way to find leaks cost-effectively. They are particularly effective where remote communication signals are weak. The Phocus3 system allows live listening through wireless communications.

Powerful post-processing data analytics
The logger samples pipeline noise at one-second intervals during each of the three sample epochs during the night when background noise is lowest. Statistical analysis is performed on each of the three epochs to determine the Leakage Confidence Factor LCF. The minimum leak noise is also measured, termed the Critical Noise Value. CNV is important as a measure of how close to the leak the logger is situated.
Flexible deployment

There are two variants of the Phocus3: one is deployed as “lift and shift” and communicates via infra-red and the other is deployed semi-permanently and communicates via radio frequencies. This enables loggers to be deployed more efficiently and effectively, saving costs.
