Supply Chain Planner

To enable this we need team members who fully live our OneTeam value which is at the heart of everything we do at Ovarro. We are seeking a talented Supply Chain Planner to join our team at Eckington. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facility by aligning supply capability with demand requirements.

General Summary:

You will be responsible for optimizing the supply chain process by effectively managing inventory levels, production scheduling, and demand planning. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of products while minimizing costs and maximizing efficiency.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Demand Planning: Collaborate with commercial and product management teams to forecast demand accurately and align supply accordingly.
  • MRP Management: Utilize the MRP system to generate material and production requirements based on demand and product BOMs.
  • Goods In: Oversee the incoming goods process to ensure timely receipt of materials.
  • Production Planning: Create and release assembly orders, optimizing capacity utilization and meeting customer commitments.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, reducing excess and obsolete stock while maintaining sufficient stock levels.
  • Reporting: Generate regular reports on inventory performance, revenue, and operational metrics.
  • Customer Support: Provide support to the Customer Care team by handling customer orders and managing delivery expectations.


Ideal Candidate:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in supply chain planning and inventory management
  • Proficiency in MRP systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
